Dreams of a Lost City (recorded 13 August — 08 October 2017)
I have created another ambient version of an old XR1300 album. And I think this one is miles better than the original. The songs are much more simplified and stripped back. Strong sensuality remains, but the sexually explicit bits have been mercifully trimmed.
The original had a lot of negatives (the runtime being the most obvious!), but these long, ambient versions benefit the running time (which is still shorter than the original, as a whole), and I enjoy the overall sound much better.
But try out both versions, if you haven't already, and make up your mind on what version you like better.
